6th annual Red Carpet and Award Show for the 2026, 72 Hour Kickass Film Festival!

In February 2026, 46 film crews representing 480+ filmmakers, actors, and creatives from Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Denver, and the surrounding areas took on the challenge of writing, shooting, and editing a 5–7-minute short film in just 72 hours.

Now it’s time to see the results.

Join us for a Red Carpet Party and Awards Night, featuring a screening of the top-nominated films, live filmmaker Q&A, and the presentation of 16 awards, including the Audience Choice Award.

This is the BIG EVENT!

Featuring a Red Carpet Party, Screening of the Best Film Nominees with filmmaker Q&A, followed by the presentation of 16 awards for all nominations from the Kickass Film Fest – including the audience choice award!
This event will welcome independent filmmakers from all over the state and beyond! In February 2026, we challenged 46 film crews to Write, Film, and Edit a 5-7 minute film in just 72 hours! This event will showcase those films with representation from Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Denver, and the surrounding areas!

• 5:30 PM – Red Carpet Party Begins . Come dressed to impress and ready to party!
• 6:30 PM – Best Film Nomination Screening + Q&A
• 8:30 PM – Award Ceremony Begins
• 10:00 PM – Award Ceremony Ends (approximately)

• Tickets – Tickets Sold Online ONLY
• Seating will be first-come, first-served.
• Restrictions: Your ticket must be printed or shown on your phone, and you must show your 21+ ID to drink alcoholic beverages at the event.
• Age Restrictions: This is an all-ages event. All films are unrated. Parental guidance is required for ages under 17. Violence, explicit language, and suggestive content may appear in the films.
